Open Mic Night

Billed as "The Flying Monkeys," Cronstadt Carver and Handsome Gretel played an open mic night at a local college. Neither one had heard the other play, they had never practiced, and all songs were improvised. Nevertheless, three Apes in the Aviary "classics" were born out of the improvisations. At the end of the show, a prospective student announced that he had decided to go to the school because they hosted events such as this one.
